Welcome to my Portfolio
Hi I’m Tiana, a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with a passion for visual storytelling and brand design. This portfolio showcases selected work from university, my current role, and freelance projects—demonstrating a broad skill set across graphic, 3D, and marketing design.

Social Media

and Graphic

Design

In my current role, I’m responsible for all graphic design and social media content, along with managing our websites. It’s been a great opportunity to grow my design skills and take on a wide range of creative projects, from campaign visuals to digital assets.

3D Design Work

Specialising in 3D environment design, I use Autodesk Maya as my primary tool to create clean, production-ready assets. My workflow focuses on efficient topology, UVs, and detailed texturing, with support from Substance 3D Painter and Blender.

Traditional and Digital Drawing

With a background in fine art, I take pride in my strong drawing skills and solid understanding of proportion, composition, and design fundamentals. To keep these skills sharp, I often paint and draw in my spare time, which helps me stay grounded in the core principles of art and continuously improve my technique.
When creating digital designs, I prefer to work on a single layer to stay as true to my traditional painting techniques as possible. While I understand the many advantages of using layers in digital art, I enjoy watching a piece develop organically, much like it would on a physical canvas.
I gravitate towards reference images with strong contrast and rich tones. While colour-matching tools are readily available, I prefer to “mix” colours by eye, even when working digitally, to stay actively engaged in the process and avoid relying on shortcuts.
While I aim to complete pieces within six hours, I often have several designs in progress at once. Switching between them helps me maintain a fresh perspective and avoid creative blindness—it’s a useful way to keep ideas flowing without feeling creatively stuck or too fixed on one direction.

Industry Design Work

After completing my degree, I was recruited by a small freelance company to join their 3D modelling team. Through close collaboration with the clients, I designed and built a range of environments that were later used in a music video project.

Awards

At the end of my second year at university, I was awarded “Best 3D Production” for my work in the CG Development module—an achievement I’m especially proud of as someone who was still new to the 3D pipeline at the time. In my final year, I went on to receive the award for “Best Technical Direction” for my final film, recognising the progress I had made and the technical precision of my work.
